Spring Break :)

About 3 weeks ago, i went down to Colorado with several of my friends for spring break. One of the girls lives there, so we all crammed into her house for an awesome 2 weeks together. (her parents are great and are the most hospitable people i've ever met) the first few days were rather uneventful as we all had to write 6-8 page papers on our personal philosophies. but after that we had a good time hanging out, playing games, and watching movies. the weather in CO was amazing, so one day we all went to a park and ran around and took lots of fun pictures. like these:

we also went shooting (both bows and arrows and guns) and to the budweiser factory to see the clydesdales. i guess it was kind of a manly day for us.

we also went to the Rocky Mountain National Park one day. We saw lots of elk and had tons of fun climbing over boulders. on the way there we even stopped at the dam store (because it's next to a dam) and got some t-shirts.

 Later during spring break several of us got the chance to go to the gym that Tat's mom works at. Olivia taught me how to use the punching bag, and i even skinned 2 of my knuckles! She was so proud.

Tat's friend Hannah came over during the break and put feathers in our hair. Here's me and Lish with our feathers.

Other than that, we mostly just hung out, watched movies, played games, read books, and went on walks in the beautiful sunshine. one night i got to go to a Zumba class with Tat's mom and it was one of the funest things i've ever done.

oh! and i also dyed Lish's hair red and put highlights in Christina's hair. here is my finest (and only) hair coloring work:

how many people does it take to highlight hair?
1 to highlight, 1 to hold the foil, 1 to look over your shoulder, and 1 to point and stare.

every now and then some of Tat's friends would come over and hang out with all of us. She has some awesome friends. But then again, i am rather biased seeing as i'm one of them. :) we also went bowling on the last thursday of our break. it'd been a while since i'd bowled last, but i did ok and it was really fun.

but now i'm back at school, and although i always love being here, i do miss colorado. hopefully i'll be able to go back there someday :)
